About the Role

As a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering and growing Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland’s peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. You will be responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of campaigns such as All Night Long and third party P2P events, driving participation, engagement and fundraising outcomes.

You will bring strong campaign coordination, digital marketing and stakeholder engagement skills, along with the ability to use initiative and judgement to deliver high-quality supporter experiences and optimise campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, ensuring activities are executed effectively and aligned with agreed objectives and targets.
  • Implement multi-channel campaign activity (email, SMS, social media and digital platforms) to drive participant acquisition, activation and retention.
  • Coordinate supporter journeys and engagement activities to enhance fundraiser experience, participation and overall campaign outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaign assets, platform functionality and marketing activity.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on participation, engagement and fundraising outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide support and guidance to fundraisers, team captains and community participants to help maximise fundraising success.
  • Assist in coordinating peer-to-peer fundraising elements of key events, working with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Maintain accurate data and records within CRM and fundraising platforms, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and privacy requirements.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, digital marketing or P2P fundraising campaigns (DIY, social, or mass participation).
  • Experience with P2P platforms (e.g., Grassrootz, GoFundraise, Funraisin, Facebook Fundraisers) and a CRM (Raiser’s Edge NXT, Salesforce NPSP, or similar).
  • Demonstrated success lifting acquisition, activation, ARPP, and retention through journeys, incentives, and content.
  • Proficient in email/SMS marketing, basic HTML editors, and marketing automation (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, Salesforce Marketing Cloud). · Strong analytics: Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards, UTM discipline, funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent project management, copywriting, and stakeholder management. · Understanding of Australian fundraising regulations, ACNC standards, and privacy obligations.
  • Experience with paid social (Meta, TikTok) and SEM for acquisition. · Event operations experience (risk management, logistics).
  • Exposure to gamification, livestream/gaming fundraisers (e.g., Tiltify).
  • Basic design/video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Express) for rapid creative.
  • Experience with corporate team fundraising and workplace engagement.
  • Understanding of the not-for-profit sector or fundraising compliance requirements is desirable.
  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to attend events, including occasional out-of-hours work.

Our families are often experiencing high levels of stress, and staff do at times experience or witness violence and aggression or exposure to information related to Domestic/Family violence, Child Safety and/or Drug and alcohol use.
