Our people tell us that being part of Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland means being connected to something meaningful. It’s a place where you can contribute to a purpose-driven organisation and help ensure families stay together when they need it most.
We offer a range of benefits that support you both professionally and personally, including salary packaging, six weeks paid parental leave, and a guaranteed annual salary increase of at least 2% or CPI equivalent. You’ll also have access to ongoing learning and development opportunities, recognition programs, wellbeing initiatives such as Fitness Passport, and a supportive team environment where your contribution is valued.
At Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland, family stays.
We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation that enables families to stay together, stay strong, and remain close to their child when healthcare is needed most. We surround families with a community of support, removing practical barriers and helping them stay at the heart of their child’s care to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
As one of many Ronald McDonald House Chapters across Australia and around the world, we are part of a global network delivering essential accommodation and support programs for families. Locally, across our Houses in Herston, South Brisbane and the Queensland Children’s Hospital, we provide compassionate, 24-hour support, 365 days a year, creating a warm and welcoming environment where families can stay close and focus on what matters most.
As a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering and growing Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland’s peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. You will be responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of campaigns such as All Night Long and third party P2P events, driving participation, engagement and fundraising outcomes.
You will bring strong campaign coordination, digital marketing and stakeholder engagement skills, along with the ability to use initiative and judgement to deliver high-quality supporter experiences and optimise campaign performance.
Please note a high degree of emotional resilience is required for this role due to the nature of our Charity and families we support. Our families are often experiencing high levels of stress, and staff do at times experience or witness violence and aggression or exposure to information related to Domestic/Family violence, Child Safety and/or Drug and alcohol use.
We are committed to keeping children and young people safe in our spaces and do not tolerate any kind of abuse. We implement prevention strategies to reduce the risk of abuse and actively seek to listen, empower, and protect children. Our team, including employees and volunteers, must meet high standards to ensure they prevent and report abuse. All roles are subject to compliance and reference checks and are subject to relevant state/territory legislation.
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and have the appropriate Visa.

At our place, everyone regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship or any other aspect that makes them unique can contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of children and their families.
