  • Work two days a week, with a salary based on $60,000 - $75,000 per year (pro-rata) plus superannuation.

The Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) is looking for an experienced, diligent, and energetic professional to provide administrative services and support to RIAA’s Working Groups.

RIAA’s Working Groups are the hub for responsible investors in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand and are a critical part of the RIAA platform where RIAA members come together to share knowledge, build capability and collaborate on the major ESG themes that are impacting Australia and Aotearoa. In addition to quarterly meetings with keynote speakers, RIAA’s Working Groups Program facilitates numerous subgroups, which produce resources to help investors consider and act on key ESG and sustainability issues. RIAA’s Working Groups are at the forefront of the intersection of finance and sustainability in Australia and New Zealand.

You will work closely with the Working Groups Manager, other RIAA team members and representatives of RIAA member organisations such as superannuation funds and investment management firms.

The ideal candidate has a passion for administrative systems and processes that support teams to function well. You thrive in a complex and fast-moving organisational setting. You are very organised, can manage multiple functions and tasks simultaneously, are outcomes-focused and have a good ability to get things done. You have an interest in how the allocation of capital can support better outcomes for the environment, society and economy.

You will have expertise in:

  • providing high quality administrative and secretarial services,
  • ability to multitask and work with others to meet deadlines,
  • ability to synthesise information, take records of meetings on complex issues and draft high-quality business documents such as minutes, alerts and notices,
  • ability to engage effectively with senior colleagues and industry contacts.

You will demonstrate an:

  • Experience as an administrative officer or administrative assistant.
  • Exceptional teamwork and commitment to respectful and inclusive work culture.
  • Resilience and a proven ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Interest in responsible investment.
