About the Role

As a Support Coordinator (NDIS), you will support clients to achieve their goals in their Individual NDIS Plans. You will help bring each participants’ NDIS plan to life. You will provide assistance to strengthen participants’ ability to coordinate and implement their supports, assist people to strengthen their informal networks, and coordinate a range of services, including funded and mainstream supports. The position involves an understanding of the NDIS, the role of support coordination, and assists supervisors with their supervisory responsibility, consistent with RFQ’s recovery practice models.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in human services or related field or equivalent and demonstrated previous relevant experience; or Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health or equivalent and significant demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness
  • A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity
  • Current open driver’s licence and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum third-party property insurance).
  • Undergo criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a valid NDIS Worker Screen Clearance pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld)
