About the Role

Join the hardworking Metro South team and provide quality evidence-based and recovery-orientated support to people with Mental Illness that are being released from correctional facilities. You will assist clients to achieve their identified goals and aspirations, provide support with day to day tasks and activities and develop professional working relationships with stakeholders to achieve best possible outcomes for clients.

  • Competitive remuneration $36.00 - $38.60 / hour plus penalty rates

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree in a human services related field with at least one year relevant experience, or less formal qualifications with substantial years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness
  • A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum third-party property)
  • Undergo criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a valid NDIS worker screening clearance pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld)
  • Queensland Correctional Services ID - QCSID
