A unique opportunity has arisen for an energetic, professional and motivated Coordinator to join and oversee the NDIS Support Program based in Aspley. The NDIS Core Scheduling Coordinator is an integral part of the NDIS Core Support team, responsible for providing training, supervision, and support to service delivery staff, as well as coordinating, developing, and administering programs and resources in line with approved policies and frameworks. The role also involves managing staff rostering and allocations, processing relevant actions, and completing essential participant documentation, including Service Agreements, Budget Tools, and Schedules of Support.

No day is the same, but it may include:

  • Providing support to service delivery staff; overseeing rostering of staff & Schedules of Support for clients and processing of actions.
  • Developing, managing, and overseeing the program and resources in alignment with organisational policies and frameworks.
  • Providing support to the Service Delivery Area managers; Preparing, monitoring and reviewing budgets, service agreements, and the service performance of the Metro North area.
  • Providing training & supervision of staff and assisting with performance appraisals.
  • Developing and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with external stakeholders such as the HHS, other NGO's, OAG, NDIA and Support Coordinators.
  • Act as an escalation point for service delivery staff and demonstrate a willingness to be on-call when required.

You will need:

  • Tertiary level qualifications in a Human Services related field.
  • Experience in planning and implementing a rostering and/or scheduling system within the human services sector and NDIS.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience and skills, with the ability to create accurate and timely written records, maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload, and respond to rostering matters promptly.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide supervisory support, build strong working relationships, work collaboratively with stakeholders, and contribute effectively to team and organisational goals.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including the ability to advocate for clients and the organisation.
  • Proven proficiency in using applications, software, and programs in an office environment, or the ability to quickly acquire these skills.
  • Ability to work within a framework of organisational policies, procedures and standards, work health and safety requirements and codes of ethical behaviour.
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum third-party property).
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a valid NDIS worker screening clearance pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
