Results Australia

About Results

Results International (Australia) is a non-partisan international aid and development organisation. We advocate directly to Australian Parliamentarians with the aim of leveraging millions of dollars in Government funding for the world's poorest communities. We believe that no matter where people are born, everyone should have equal opportunities to fulfil their potential in life. For over 35 years we have recruited, trained and empowered everyday Australians through our grassroots advocacy program. We support our advocates to use their voice to ensure Australia is being a good international citizen and using its aid budget as effectively as possible. Our model of advocacy enables us to create systemic and transformational change for the world's poorest and most vulnerable communities.

Our Mission: To generate the political will to end poverty.

Our Vision: An Asia Pacific region free from extreme poverty.

About the Board

The board consists of between 6 and 8 volunteer Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) from a diverse range of backgrounds and skill sets, who are appointed by the Board or elected by Results members. Directors have a three year tenure with an option of extension.

About our next Chair

The global health context has changed dramatically over recent years and these changes will continue to ripple throughout the world for years to come. Our sustainable funding model through major American philanthropy allows Results to respond to this rapidly changing operating environment. Our next Chair will play a strong role in raising the profile and impact of Results with parliamentarians, policy makers and global health partners, and significantly elevate the role that Results plays in the global health ecosystem. The Chair will also open doors to new funding opportunities and champion our success to a wider audience.
