Relieving Care Coordinator

We are seeking a Relieving Care Coordinator to join our team on a permanent full time basis. This role will see you work across all of our Metropolitan and Regional residential aged care homes in a relieving capacity as and when required, to cover Annual/Personal leave as well as to offer additional assistance to site teams as required.

A little more about the role:

  • Working collaboratively with the Senior Manager Clinical Services and the Residential Services Managers at our sites, you will provide quality clinical care and services to all residents
  • Working in consultation with residents and their families in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the clinical care provided
  • Delivering professional standards of contemporary best practice nursing and care services at your allocated residential aged care home
  • Ensuring effective and collaborative working arrangements with visiting medical practitioners and other allied health professionals
  • The supervision of nursing staff and personal care assistants

About you:

  • You will have outstanding leadership skills and have the ability to motivate staff to achieve organisational goals
  • Previous supervisory experience as a Registered Nurse
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents
  • Ability to logically prioritise varying work demands
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • You have an understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to caring for older people
  • At least 3 years' experience as a registered nurse
  • Registration with AHPRA is essential
  • Both Covid-19 vaccinations and the Covid-19 Booster as well as the seasonal influenza vaccine.
