Resthaven Port Elliot Residential Services is currently seeking Enrolled Nurses to join the Clinical team on a permanent part-time basis.

Summary of the role

In accordance with the vision, mission and values of Resthaven, the Enrolled Nurse is responsible for the provision of quality nursing services that meet the personal needs of residents.

On occasions, when the Manager Residential Services designates the Enrolled Nurse to work in charge of a shift, the Enrolled Nurse will be responsible for being the site Senior First Aid Officer and Chief Fire Warden.

Enrolled Nurses working in charge of shifts are responsible for providing leadership and first line supervision to Personal Care Assistants and Housekeeping Services Assistants including the allocation of duties.

your skills will include:

  • You are available to work across morning, afternoon and night duty shifts
  • You have at least 6 months experience working in the role of Enrolled Nurse
  • You have comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly to age related issues, and experience working with contemporary practices in an aged care environment
  • You have an empathetic nature and are committed to supporting the needs of older people
  • An inclusive, collaborative and supportive Leader with the ability to engage at all levels with clarity and empathy
  • The ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care outcomes
  • IT savvy with AHPRA registration
