Reservoir Neighbourhood House is currently seeking volunteer members for our friendly and welcoming Board – Committee of Management.

Reservoir Neighbourhood House Inc. is an incorporated community development enterprise registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. We provide a welcome community space which fosters the prosperity and wellbeing of local residents with a focus on employment, health, and social connection.

Selection criteria

Reservoir Neighbourhood House Inc. encourages nominations from all community members, including those new to Board membership. Experience is preferred, but not essential.

• Tertiary qualifications focused on business management, community development, social work, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and network with similar enterprises.
• Demonstrated ability to relate – and respond directly – to people in need.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to solicit ideas and feedback from several sources.
• Extensive relevant management experience.
• Financial management expertise, including the ability to read and understand financial statements.
• Knowledge of the contractual, legislative, and regulatory environment in which Reservoir Neighbourhood House operates.
• Sector expertise, specifically community services, education, and government relations.
