Apunipima Cape York Health Council is a community controlled Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health service, which provides culturally appropriate, family centred, primary health care services to the communities and people of Cape York.
Working within a cohesive and integrated team, the General Practitioner provides a high standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness. This position will demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting health, wellbeing and disease prevention, working in collaboration with local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers. This is a FIFO position from Cairns servicing Cape York communities.
It is a condition of employment for this position that the employee be vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with the organisational policy requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Pre-employment screening for vaccination against Vaccine Preventable Diseases will be conducted for the successful applicant.
