The School Counsellor provides expert support to promote mental health, student wellbeing, and positive engagement with school life. Through professional counselling services and targeted interventions, the role empowers students to navigate challenges, build resilience, and thrive both personally and academically. The School Counsellor contributes to a collaborative and student-centred culture, offering guidance and expertise that strengthens the school’s approach to wellbeing and supports a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Multiple appointments available at St John Paul II College, Nicholls ACT and St Clare's College Griffith, ACT.
The Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to Schools and ELCs. The CEO includes seven Service Areas: Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology, and People and Culture.
