headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing. This covers core areas including mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services. Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is the lead agency for headspace Sale, which is governed by a consortium of local community organisations who provide expertise, support and advice to RAV.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will be the first point of contact within a multidisciplinary team supporting young people by providing holistic and integrated care. Your responsibilities will include engaging with young people by responding to enquiries, screening and assessing their psychosocial needs while building positive rapport with them. You will provide advice, practical support, advocacy, resources, and refer clients to internal/external services as appropriate including local community, partner youth and health services.
This opportunity is located at our headspace Sale centre and part-time, working three (3) days per week, with an evening shift on Tuesdays (12noon-8pm). This position is on a fixed-term contract until June 2026.
