About the role

Reporting to the Manager Shepparton, your responsibilities include general administration tasks and providing a welcoming first point of contact. This will involve attending to walk-in clients, directing incoming phone enquiries about RAV services such as Family Mediation and Counselling and responding to emails in a helpful manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring efficient coordination, booking, data entry and processing of all appointments and undertaking basic assessment of client service needs as required.

This role is located at our Shepparton centre in Victoria’s regional Goulburn Valley area and is part-time, working 15 hours per week, which may include one evening shift on Tuesday per week. This is a fixed-term contract ending 30 June 2024.

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • Office Administration certificate and/or previous experience in a similar administration capacity.
  • Proven experience answering high volume inbound calls, delivering high quality customer service, ideally within a medical or health care related environment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of skill in dealing with clients with complex needs in a supportive, empathetic and effective manner, to remain calm under pressure, problem solve and make effective decisions in potentially stressful situations.
  • High level of confidentiality to ensure client personal and financial information is maintained.
  • Proven track record in managing priorities, organising priorities with excellent attention to detail.
