Our belief in the transformative power of relationships lies at the heart of everything we do. Relationships Australia South Australia (RASA) is a not-for-profit, secular, community organisation, helping people to overcome difficulties and bring about positive change in their lives. We offer services for families, couples and individuals of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Our Corporate team has been evolving over the past few years to meet the needs of our growing organisation. We’re excited about the change this will bring to payroll and the challenge it will invite to our existing ways of working. It will help us to keep performing an important function that enables our people to do the great work they do, and manage the risks associated with it.
Based at our South Terrace office, this position will work closely with the Senior Payroll Advisor to deliver the payroll service for RASA. You’ll be supporting the end to end process of payroll and there will also be opportunities to get involved in project work.
As our systems involve self-service timesheets, alongside the end to end payroll process you'll work to ensure accuracy of a variety of tasks including changes, long service leave, superannuation and end of month processes. In conjunction with the Senior Payroll Advisor you'll provide appropriate and relevant advice to leaders and staff around matters relating to payroll.
You'll also support developments to payroll related modules of the Technology One system, including system upgrades and enhancements, new module rollout and development, and effective system practices. With 50% of our staff working part time, flexibility is a key part of our work. For payroll, there are some deadlines that we cannot move in ensuring people get paid accurately and on time.
This role is planned for 3 days per week, and we could also negotiate with you to organise these hours across 4 days per week. Our payroll processing occurs fortnightly from Monday to Wednesday, so working these days would be essential.
We are looking for a well-rounded person to join us to continue to grow and improve our payroll systems. For this position, as a minimum we want to know that:
It would be a bonus to us if you:
If this sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you.
Any enquiries can be addressed to Pete Allred on 08 8273 3262.
The services provided at RASA sites mean that our employees need to be vaccinated and you will need to provide your COVID-19 vaccination certificate as part of our pre-employment checks. If you can’t comply, you are encouraged to have a confidential conversation with the hiring manager about your individual circumstances. Relationships Australia South Australia is a Child Safe and Equal Opportunity Employer.
