We are currently seeking applications for the Part-time role (22.5 hours per week) position of Redress Support Service Counsellor located at our Townsville venue.
The purpose of these roles is to provide a high standard of counselling and case management interventions to people who are survivors of institutionalised child sexual abuse.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated experience in managing complex cases and crisis and trauma counselling in a variety of settings including individuals, couples, children and families. In addition, you will have a relevant undergraduate qualification in social or behavioural science. Work days/hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant, however please note that the position holder may be required to work an evening shift (e.g. 11am to 7pm) up to once a week, with some flexibility needed in order to meet business requirements.
