The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (the College) is the peak body for advancing patient care and clinical excellence in clinical radiology and radiation oncology. The College is responsible for driving appropriate, high quality and safe use of medical imaging and radiation oncology through training, assessment and accreditation of radiologists and radiation oncologists, maintenance of quality and standards, and strategies to ensure the workforce is sufficient to support population needs in Australia and New Zealand.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven Sponsorship, Business Development and Events expert to join our team. In this role you will manage the full range of our sponsorship activities including driving commercial outcomes end to end, as well as managing our events and conferences. With an existing portfolio in place, as well as new opportunities to develop and strategise this role is varied and challenging. Reporting to the Head of Membership and Engagement Services, you will be responsible for maintaining existing, and developing new areas of our sponsorship income from events and publications and also drive the events strategy and operations.

With a proven track record across the full range of sponsorship and events management (including marketing, budgeting, promotions) you are known for delivering commercial results to deadlines, and managing all stakeholder relationships with respect, intuition, and possess clear, confident communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have previously delivered successful large scale, structured events within professional sectors. Targeted business development and relationship management experience is essential for this role, as is people leadership, and a relevant tertiary level qualification. This role will commence mid-January 2021.
