About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Prospect Researcher and Grant Writer to help us grow and diversify Raise’s funding base.

This key role is responsible for identifying new funding opportunities, crafting compelling grant applications, and supporting the delivery of high-quality impact reporting.

Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, Partnerships team, and CEO, you’ll be central to sustaining long-term donor relationships and advancing our mission.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Research and qualify new funding prospects across corporate, philanthropic, and government sectors
  • Build a prioritised prospect pipeline and develop detailed profiles to support strategic engagement
  • Prepare and submit tailored, high-quality grant applications aligned with funder priorities
  • Produce accurate and timely acquittals and impact reports for successful grants
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure funding proposals reflect our programs and impact
  • Maintain accurate records and dashboards using Salesforce to track funding performance

About you

  • You are a skilled researcher and writer with a passion for purpose-driven work. You bring:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in grant writing, fundraising, sales coordination or prospect research
  • Demonstrated success securing philanthropic, corporate, or government funding
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities
  • The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
