The role will report to the State Director, while working closely alongside the Electorate Office and with the Ryan Local Election Committee.

Core Responsibilities are:

• Develop and oversee higher level strategy and messaging alongside the Ryan EO and other campaign staff
• Coordinate the West Side nested strategy
• Set the initial campaign budget and track budget
• Manage campaign staff and oversee recruitment and contracts
• Candidate support
• Support the coordination of materials production, social media comms, email comms, and media in conjunction with the Ryan EO and other campaign staff
• Oversee website setup and updating in conjunction with the Ryan EO
• Oversee digital fundraising planning and implementation
• Small and medium donor engagement
• Liaise with QG and AG, LECCs and other relevant offices as required
• Work closely with the Ryan EO staff to ensure the re-election campaign works closely with relevant community campaign
• All other duties as directed

Key Competencies Required:

• Experience leading large-scale field campaigns
• Experience working in or closely alongside the Ryan electorate office
• Experience working with and strong relationships to West Side Greens branches
• Close understanding of and experience working with Queensland Greens party structures
• High level of competency using internal software packages used internally by the Party, including Nationbuilder and gVIRS
• Experience successfully leading in complex organisational structures
• Experience in leading teams through conflict resolution
• Experience in leading, training and upskilling large scale volunteer teams
• A commitment to Green politics and processes including consensus decision making
• Commitment to the Greens charter and policies including an understanding of internal structures and processes
