Living Faith Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a long day care centre situated in Petrie, providing care for around 75 children up to 6 years of age.

Here at Living Faith Early Learning Centre we are looking for a motivated, passionate and enthusiastic Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our growing team in a full time position.

Responsibilities include:

• Actively supervising and engaging children in a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Providing all children with a safe, secure and welcoming environment.
• Building meaningful relationships with children, families and the school community.
• Working collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Assisting with food preparation and general cleaning tasks.
• Supporting the Christian ethos of the Service

The successful applicants will have:

• Minimum of Diploma in Children's Services.
• Previous experience for children aged 0-3 years.
• Current Blue Card.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A professional and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to positively and proactively engage with staff, children and families.
