Deliver NDIS nursing services today. Help shape tomorrow's Support at Home services.

Quality Compassionate Services (QCS) is an established registered NDIS provider expanding its clinical services to better support participants with complex health needs.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to establish and deliver our NDIS nursing services, providing high-quality, person-centred care while helping shape the future of our growing clinical services and our expansion into the Australian Government's Support at Home aged care program.

This is more than a nursing position. It is an opportunity to help build a culturally responsive community nursing service that empowers people with disability, older Australians and multicultural communities to live healthier, more independent lives.

Whether you're looking for one day a week, occasional clinical work or a long-term opportunity to help grow an innovative service, we'd love to hear from you.

About QCS

Quality Compassionate Services (QCS) is a registered NDIS provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to people of all backgrounds.

Our mission is to ensure that every individual receives compassionate, culturally responsive care that promotes independence, dignity and inclusion.

We proudly support culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities and are the creators of DiversAbilities, a free national platform connecting people with disability, families, carers, service providers and community organisations through information, peer support, events and culturally accessible resources.

As we continue to expand our clinical capabilities and prepare for the Australian Government's Support at Home program, we're looking for a Registered Nurse who shares our passion for making healthcare more accessible and inclusive.

About the Role

Initially, your focus will be on delivering NDIS nursing services to participants living in the community while helping us establish a strong clinical foundation for future growth.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering NDIS nursing supports in participants' homes and community settings.
  • Comprehensive nursing assessments and health reviews.
  • Medication management and medication administration.
  • Wound care and chronic disease management.
  • Continence assessments and support.
  • Diabetes and other ongoing health management.
  • Health education for participants, carers and families.
  • Preparing clinical reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Providing clinical advice and mentoring to disability support workers where appropriate.
  • Assisting in the development of clinical policies, procedures and governance systems.
  • Contributing to the growth of our clinical services and future Support at Home program.

Why Join QCS?

This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation where your ideas, experience and clinical expertise will genuinely make a difference.

You'll be supported by an organisation that already has:

  • Registered NDIS provider status.
  • Established governance, compliance and operational systems.
  • Existing participants and referral pathways.
  • Strong community relationships across multicultural communities.
  • Marketing and business development support.
  • DiversAbilities, our growing national community platform.
  • A clear vision for expanding clinical services across disability and aged care.

Rather than joining a large organisation where you're one of many, you'll have the opportunity to help shape a service that will improve the lives of people in our community.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred community nursing.
  • Enjoys building relationships with participants, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Is confident working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Has excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Values compassion, inclusion and cultural diversity.
  • Is excited by the opportunity to help build and grow a new clinical service.

Experience in disability, community nursing, primary healthcare or aged care will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Flexible Engagement Options

We understand that flexibility is important.

We're open to discussing a range of engagement arrangements, including:

  • Casual employment.
  • Independent subcontracting.
  • Flexible part-time arrangements.
  • Revenue-sharing opportunities.
  • Longer-term strategic partnerships as our clinical services continue to grow.

If you've ever wanted to help build a community nursing service without the risks of starting your own business, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Multilingual Nurses Encouraged

We strongly encourage applications from Registered Nurses who speak languages other than English or have experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Languages such as Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Punjabi, Dari, Farsi, Oromo, Somali and many others are highly valued, as they help us provide more accessible and culturally responsive healthcare to the communities we serve.

Applications will be assessed as they are received, and interviews may commence before the closing date.
