People with Disability Australia (PWDA) is seeking a values-driven and experienced people leader to join our team as the Senior Manager, Individual Advocacy (NSW).
This pivotal leadership role is responsible for guiding our dedicated team of Advocates, Project Officers, and Client Service Officers in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed advocacy and intake services across NSW.
If you’re an inspiring and experienced people leader with demonstrated operational excellence and a deep understanding of the disability sector, and in particular experience with the provision of individual advocacy support services, this is your opportunity to make real change.
As the Senior Manager Individual Advocacy (NSW), you will be responsible for the operational leadership of our NSW Individual Advocacy teams. You will support them to continue to deliver high-quality, person-centred and trauma informed services aligned with the National Standards for Disability Services.
This role is focused on creating a positive and supportive employee experience, with an emphasis on wellbeing, engagement, and professional growth. It includes providing regular one-on-one supervision and case reviews, as well as coaching and mentoring team members to build their confidence, skills, and collective capability.
This will be done in partnership with the Senior Manager, Individual Advocacy (QLD) to ensure consistent approaches to people and program leadership.
The is an office-based role in our modern Surry Hills office opposite central station making the commute a breeze.
