About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for delivering on projects within their remit as well as supporting other projects within the Strategic Projects team and more broadly across PWDA as required. Some of the projects in this remit include ‘Women with disability in leadership’ and ‘Women with disability dealing with family/domestic violence.

Undertake research and data analysis and ensure all project deliverables meet contractual requirements. Develop key partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and lead the co-design of training and education programs as required.

Please note the Project Manager is an Identified Position in accordance with People with Disability Australia’s Identified Position Procedure and only women with disability are eligible to apply.

This is a maximum term contract of 2 years.

About You

You will bring your project management and leadership experience to this role. This includes your exceptional experience managing multiple projects at one time to budget and timeframe and reporting outcomes to relevant stakeholders and your proven ability to network and connect with partners and other stakeholders. You have exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the including the ability to prepare timetables and prioritising to meet deadlines. You also have strong IT skills with experience using training platforms including eLearning programs and live training delivery platforms.

PWDA offers hybrid working arrangements and if you are seeking this you can demonstrate that you remain productive and focussed and have suitable home/remote office facilities.

Previous experience in the domestic and family violence sector is desirable but not essential.
