About the Role
Exciting opportunity to join MATES in Construction in a newly created leadership role reporting to the National Chief Executive Officer. As the Program and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of program development and implementation of appropriate supporting systems, processes and operational projects to ensure the consistent and high quality delivery of suicide prevention programs across MATES in Construction Australia and New Zealand.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee program development and review processes to ensure the consistent delivery of suicide prevention programs across the MATES in Construction network
- Develop a program fidelity framework and relevant quality materials to support staff with program delivery in accordance with guidelines and best practice
- Foster collaborative working relationships across all state and national offices
- Manage operational budget and financial reporting requirements
- Implement appropriate reporting measures to support management and funding obligations
- Deliver key operational projects and pilot programs that support the growth of the overarching MATES program
- Direct leadership responsibility for a team of three direct reports
Experience and Attributes we are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience leading the development and/or delivery of complex programs or services
- Highly developed time management skills related to delivering key operational projects
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships of trust across complex stakeholder groups
- Genuine interest in raising awareness about suicide prevention and mental health in the building and construction industry
