Your mission in this newly created role will be to enhance the skills, knowledge and performance of our amazing staff by actively promoting, developing, facilitating and improving L&D initiatives - contributing to the overall sustainability and adaptability of our organisation.

What you would be doing

Working under the guidance of the Manager – People and Culture, you will:

  • Conduct training needs assessments
  • Design and develop the L&D framework
  • Lead, design, facilitate and assess training programs
  • Develop induction programs and support coordination
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement in L&D, keeping up to date with latest trends and best practice, and support the organisation to meet accreditation standards related to L&D
  • Contribute to People and Culture projects as needed

Here's what you’ll look like

  • Substantial experience, knowledge and understanding of contemporary L&D specialities
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Training and Assessment or similar, or demonstrated experience in a similar role. Generalist HR experience would be advantageous
  • Ideally have experience with Learning Management Systems and e-learning platforms
  • A creative thinker and demonstrated positive and innovative approach to learning
  • Ability to engage and connect with staff as individuals and as part of the big picture, bringing everyone along with you on our L&D journey
  • A culture champion – understanding that every day, you contribute to what makes Primary Health Tasmania a great place to work.
