At Primary Health Tasmania a core focus of our work is planning, developing and commissioning services that address the health needs of Tasmanians. This process involves assessing community health needs and designing effective solutions to meet them. Due to the growing scope of our work, we are seeking additional staff to join our team!
As we are continuing to grow our team, we are looking for a Health Service Planning Coordinator (Primary Health Consultant – Health Service Planner) to lead planning and designing those solutions. You’ll work closely with a range of stakeholders and experts to find the best ways to make it happen.
What makes this role truly unique is the variety of work you will do – from researching evidence, service design, recommending service models, right through to preparing procurement documents and assessing market capacity. A real plus is you’ll be rewarded knowing you are shaping health services that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Don't worry if you haven’t had experience in this exact role, as we will provide the training and support to enable you to succeed. If you have transferable skills, we encourage you to apply. Valuable experience could include working in health or health management, skills in project and relationship management, or the ability to develop effective service solutions in a health setting.
