Come and join a team of highly skilled, motivated and compassionate professionals.
Permanent Care and Adoptive Families (PCA Families) is a not-for-profit member-based organisation representing families formed by permanent care, kinship care and adoption in Victoria. Established by parents from this community in 2003, we continue to be guided by the lived experience of our members.
PCA Families has an exciting vacancy for a Program Leader to lead a small team in the operations of the Flexible Funding Program. The program is funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) and is jointly delivered by PCA Families and OzChild and supported by a consortium of other agencies. Flexible Funding provides funds to meet the extraordinary needs of children and young people subject to a permanent care order to help with costs not met by the carer allowance, or other funding sources.
The role requires a social work, psychology, nursing or equivalent qualification and experience in providing community-based or home-based service delivery using evidence-informed trauma informed approaches, practices and models, and an understanding of Victoria's child and family services sector.
If you would like to know more about this role, please contact Wendy Mason, CEO on 0499617106. We are keen to appoint as soon as possible.
