All Abilities Advocacy is a self advocacy network for people with disability living in South-West Victoria, it is run by a small team of people with disability. The team supports the AAA Warrnambool self advocacy group and links people with disability in South-West Victoria to the wider Victorian Self Advocacy Network (VSAN).
The Self Advocacy Resource Unit (SARU) supports and resources self advocacy groups for people with intellectual disability, people with acquired brain injury and people with complex communication needs. SARU works with self advocacy groups across Victoria, including the AAA network.
This role is vital to the growth of self advocacy across South-West Victoria.
It is a 2 day per week part-time role.

The All Abilities Advocacy Project Worker will work as part of a small team of Project Workers across the state.
You will have a strong understanding of self-advocacy, disability rights, and community inclusion. You will bring proven skills in group facilitation, accessible resource creation, and community engagement, along with a commitment to inclusive practices and human rights. Strong communication, organisational, and digital skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities. A Victorian driver’s licence, police check, and up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations are required. Qualifications in community-related fields are desirable.
This is a SCHACDS Award Level 5 position with above award conditions including an additional annual leave on work days between Christmas Day and New Years Day. Salary packaging is available with flexible work conditions.
