The Port Phillip Community Group (PPCG) is committed to a community that fosters inclusion, where people feel valued and can participate in community life. This means delivering services in partnerships that enable consumers to achieve sustainable change and growth in areas such as health and wellbeing, financial management, social connections and community inclusion.

Operating from three main sites in St Kilda, East St Kilda and Port Melbourne, over forty volunteers and staff work in partnership with the local organisations to deliver positive outcomes for all members of the community. 

PPCG provides social advocacy regarding inequity, social exclusion and poverty to reduce disadvantage through leading and participating in local issue-based advocacy campaigns and activities. Underpinning all our services and initiatives are community development approaches. Further information: www.ppcg.org.au.  

Some of the key responsibilities for the role include: 

  • Delivering, developing and overseeing education, training and skills development courses for our community.
  • Liaising with stakeholders including industry, community organisations, course tutors and participants.
  • Developing and submitting annual plans, course outlines and session plans to the Department of Jobs Skills and Industry ACFE division.
  • Completing reporting and compliance requirements within agreed timeframes
