Are you an experienced administrator with an interest in payroll services and a keen attention to detail? We want you!

We are on the search for a Payroll Coordinator to come and join our dynamic P&C Team. Reporting directly to the Payroll: Team Leader you will be working in a high-volume and fast-paced environment to ensure the delivery of an accurate and timely payroll service across a large organisation.

The successful applicant can be based in our offices in Tasmania located in Hobart, Launceston or Burnie, or our offices in Victoria located in Ararat or Sunshine (Melbourne).

Let us tell you about the role

Permanent, Full time. Approximate Salary 85K + Salary packaging and Superannuation

The role of the Payroll Coordinator is to be responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely administration of an end-to-end payroll service whilst ensuring compliance with all legislative and reporting obligations.

As the Payroll Coordinator you will have extensive administration experience with the ability to effectively navigate and maintain an automated payroll system. You will have excellent communication and engagement skills utilised to build relationships and provide practical support to both employees and organisational leaders, assisting them to understand payroll services as well as resolving payroll issues as required.

What's essential?

  • Extensive administration experience
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and advise organisational leaders
  • Current knowledge or willingness to learn contemporary payroll processes
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (must be maintained)
  • A current national Police Check (must be maintained)
  • A current unrestricted driver’s licence (must be maintained)
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
