Plate it Forward Ltd is looking for an inhouse social media manager to be an integral member of our team to help us document and proudly share our social impact and outcomes.

About Us

Plate it Forward is a Hybrid of a Non For Profit and Social Enterprise Hospitality Group that believes in equality for all no matter your background.

We use food as a universal language to connect people from all countries, economic backgrounds and experience levels. We enable community members where opportunity has not been equal and provide employment, training and access into the hospitality workforce removing barriers that should not exist.

As part of our charitable purpose, we partner with multiple charities to donate over 3000 meals a week to those in need.

Under our Hospitality Group we operate multiple Social Enterprise venues that employ people seeking asylum, First Nations community members, individuals recovering from addiction, those out of the incarceration system, young people at risk and people living with disabilities. 90% of our current workforce of 95 people are represented by people from the above communities.

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and empathetic Social Media Manager who wants to be involved in this exceptional cause.

We need support to help us drive change in the community by sharing the incredible work we do.

JOB OVERVIEW

Overseeing all elements of Plate It Forward brand, internal and external communications including social media platforms, content & copywriting with the execution of our strategy in line with individual venues brand pillars, The Marketing Manager is responsible for building the brand recognition, impact storytelling and updating the evolution of the venues and most importantly the people’s lives our venues and work impacts through honest and storytelling.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Regular posting of content across all platforms in line with developed content strategies
  • Responding to all Google Reviews and customer feedback
  • Managing all sub brands and venues in line with their social purpose and their voice
  • Communication of our impact and success
  • Working with our charity partners on clear communication of our impact and collective social good
  • Build relationships with customers, talent and identify appropriate partnerships and collaborations.
  • Assist with content creation at events and campaign shoots.
  • Management of User Generated Content.
  • Ensure best practices for social media, scheduling, community management and growth.
