An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Giving team at Plan International Australia as an Individual Giving Officer, with a strong focus on our Regular Giving programme.
This is an 11 to 12 month fixed-term position, covering a Parental leave term within the team. The role will primarily support our Regular Giving Manager to oversee a $21 million (and growing) portfolio of Regular Giving income from two major areas: child sponsorship and non-child sponsorship Regular Giving. There will be a strong focus on optimising partnerships with our external fundraising suppliers, particularly in face-to-face, telemarketing and digital fundraising. The role is accountable for ensuring suppliers meet their performance KPI’s and will also support the wider Giving team’s direct marketing and retention activities.
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.
We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected. Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.
We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 85 years, and are now active in more than 80 countries.
An average day in the PIA, the Giving team is quite varied – no day will be quite the same, but throughout your time, we will see you performing these duties:
