This is a new role, created because of the commitments articulated above. To propel our equity journey and the changes needed, we recruited a First Nations Trustee to guide us at a governance level. Our next step is having First Nations representation at an Executive level. It is at this level that deep organisational change and community engagement will be lead. This role will work in close partnership with the First Nations community, the CEO and the rest of the ACM Executive Team to both determine the change that is needed and to support this change journey.

In collaboration with the CEO and the Executive team, you will deliver the ACM’s strategic vision. You will also ensure Arts Centre Melbourne remains proactive and responsive in addressing First Nations equity and inclusion and as it attracts a larger cohort of First Nations team members. As this is a new role, you will have the opportunity to shape it and be guided by ACM’s vision. You will become a trusted advisor and strong people leader who can not only motivate and inspire others but importantly, bring others along on this journey. Ultimately, you demonstrate ACM’s values:
