Playgroup Victoria is looking for a dynamic and innovative Content and Resources Officer to support the organisation with a variety of resourcing and content creation needs.

The purpose of this role is to create inspiring, engaging, and up-to-date content and resources that may be distributed to a variety of stakeholders, across all Playgroup Victoria channels and platforms. Furthermore, this role will aid in communicating Playgroup Victoria’s key messages and information through the development of engaging marketing content.

The Content and Resources Officer will be accountable for curating materials for a wide variety of digital and non-digital platforms and may be required to review, audit, coordinate, and create different types of playgroup resources and content.

Tasks within this role may include:

  • Collaborating and liaising with relevant internal staff to inform the design and content of resources needed across the organisation
  • Writing content and gathering inspiring visuals for activity booklets and play sheets
  • Researching and writing copy for relevant fact sheets and infographics
  • Creating fun and inspiring video content to use across social media
  • Working closely with all internal staff to ensure relevant and on-brand resources and tools are being distributed
  • Conducting market research to understand playgroup resourcing needs
  • Reviewing web-based content to ensure consistency and relevance
  • Reviewing the performance of available resources and analysing data

The desired application will demonstrate

  • Basic working knowledge of the WordPress CMS platform (or willingness to up skill)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (or willingness to up skill)
  • Proficiency in video content creation for social media (or willingness to up skill)
  • Familiarity with CRM or similar database to manage client relationships
