YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE

  • Ongoing, Part-time Role - 40 Hours per Fortnight | Parkville, VIC

The Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation (Foundation) is seeking an experienced Company Secretary to support strong governance, compliance, and effective Board operations. Reporting to the Board Chair and working closely with the CEO and executive team, this role is central to maintaining best practice governance and regulatory compliance for the Foundation. The Foundation raises vital funds to support cancer research and research-led care at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating Board and Committee meetings, agendas, papers, and minutes
  • Supporting Board effectiveness and governance best practice
  • Managing statutory and regulatory compliance (ACNC, ASIC)
  • Maintaining corporate records, registers, and governance documentation
  • Act as a key liaison between the Board, CEO, members of Executive on governance matters

About you:

  • Experience as a Company Secretary or senior governance professional
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance and compliance requirement, preferably within the not-for-profit and fundraising sector
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Commitment to the Foundation’s mission and values
