Two exciting opportunities await to join the friendly and dynamic Social Work Department at Peninsula Health as a Grade 2 Social Worker.
A rare, permanent and full time opportunity exists to join the Social Work Team at The Mornington Centre, a purpose built Geriatric Evaluation & Management facility. The Grade 2 Social Worker will be an integral member of a skilled multi-disciplinary team and will primarily work on Flinders Ward. The Grade 2 Social Worker will demonstrate skills and knowledge relevant to respectfully working with people living with dementia, and their carers.
A second opportunity to join the Social Work Department as a Grade 2 Social Worker presents in a full-time, limited term position based at Frankston Hospital. This is a 12 month parental leave position commencing December 2024. The position will primarily be based on an acute medical & surgical ward, but will regularly have opportunity to work across wards. The Grade 2 Social Worker will be a member of a large Social Work team and will demonstrate skills and knowledge relevant to working with adults of all ages and backgrounds. The successful candidate will develop experience in working with people experiencing a wide range of psychosocial issues.

*Please refer to salary circular ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021- 2026 for Salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
