What You Will Be Doing

The Community Falls Prevention Service is a multidisciplinary specialist assessment service and clinic. The grade 2 physiotherapist is a valued member of the team who conducts comprehensive falls risk assessments to reduce falls risk and fall-related injury for older people living in the community. The physio also completes specialist physiotherapy assessments and may deliver short-term interventions as appropriate. Delivery of education to other clinical staff, consumers and community organisations may also be required.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Demonstrated competence in physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation of elderly clients at risk of falls.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills.
