PeakCare Queensland is seeking a Director, Inquiry Support and Insight to lead and coordinate our organisation’s contribution to the Commission of Inquiry into Child Protection. This is a rare and meaningful opportunity to shape constructive, forward-looking outcomes for Queensland’s children, young people, families, and the child and family services sector.
In this time-limited role, you will be responsible for coordinating all inquiry-related activities within PeakCare, ensuring our responses are thoughtful, well-governed, and impactful. You will project manage the development of submissions and advice, lead sector engagement activities, and ensure PeakCare’s leadership supports positive sector outcomes. Importantly, you will work collaboratively across the organisation, liaising with our members, external stakeholders, and advisory groups to amplify constructive contributions, not just meet compliance requirements.

Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects, governance structures, or multi-stakeholder initiatives, particularly in sensitive or high-stakes environments
Knowledge of the child protection system, social policy frameworks, and the broader child and family services sector in Queensland.
Proven ability to engage, support, and coordinate across diverse stakeholders, including member organisations, advisory groups, and government representatives.
Understanding of statutory, regulatory, or compliance obligations relevant to commissions or inquiries, with experience ensuring organisational accountability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on public messaging, media awareness, and delivering constructive, impactful outcomes.
Demonstrated commitment to PeakCare’s core principles of child-centred advocacy, inclusivity, evidence-based action, and sector collaboration.
