About APHA
APHA is a non-profit membership organisation established to promote, support and advance the high-performing a low energy, climate positive building standard called Passive House in Australia. Our members are aligned in their interest in protecting the climate, they range from interested individuals to multinational design, engineering and construction companies. About this role
Organisational Operations
- Ensure APHA technology and website are operating as required
- Ensure financial reports are issued on time
- Take the lead on State Chapter engagement operations
- Manages the annual membership engagement survey and report
- Supports the development and management of new and existing member services
Project Management
- End to end management of special projects
- Travels to support events and workshops being delivered around the country
- Provide support and assistance with planning, implementation and evaluation of activities relating to the aims and objectives of current projects
- Research and develop new projects/programs
- Prepare grant applications and sponsorship proposals
- Assist with the design and development of project products and tools
- Maintain and develop orderly and accurate digital copy of meeting and consultation records
- Update website using WordPress and various tools to support project
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
- Prepare summary reports as required
- Provide administrative support for projects including attending meetings and taking minutes as required
Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
- Prepares reports and papers to communicate project progress and outcomes with parties
- Confidently creates communications materials to support project needs
- Able to establish and maintain relationships
- Coordinates with and manages sponsors to ensure packages are delivered
- Coordinate our regional teams in the delivery of our community-based client service needs.
- Work with CEO and other stakeholders to produce advocacy materials
- Prepare meeting and consultation paper packs as required
- Take the lead on State Chapter engagement operations
- Ensure membership engagement technology is meeting member needs
- Other duties as required
About you
- You're a confident communicator who is comfortable working in a robust, remote team

- Have highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and maintain a high level of customer service.
- You are customer focused.
- You have previous experience in an association delivering events, advocacy, running committees, communications, member services, education and operations.
