The PANDA Learning Hub is PANDA’s education and training offering to staff, volunteers, health care providers and community. The learning management system (LMS) behind PANDA Learning Hub houses our online education content, currently using the system SAP Litmos.
Reporting into the Marketing and Communications Manager, the LMS Support Officer is responsible for day-to-day management of the PANDA Learning Hub including email customer support, system upgrades, integrations, assessments, notifications and reporting. This role also offers integral support and training to system users both within and outside the organisation.
In addition to management of the system, this role may be required to support course content upload (via Articulate 360; specifically Rise and Storyline), proofing of course content and assist with major projects in the Education and Training team.
NOTE: this role is 15.2 hours per week, 0.4 FTE.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide day to day support to LMS users, including account creation, access and resolving technical issues.
- Ensure LMS functionality around content, assessment, notifications and theme is consistent and up to date (including content provided by external agencies).
- Run and create reports, including compliance, course participation and live training attendance.
- Analyse and share insights from LMS usage to key stakeholders including Marketing & Communications team.
- Provide guidance, training and support to staff, ensuring content is uploaded within the correct LMS structure and templates.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive Learning Hub support documentation.
- Support course content upload and proofing

Selection Criteria
- Experience in the use, configuration and administration of an online learning management system.
- Excellent responsiveness and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a part-time role.
- Ability to exercise judgement and design simple processes where these do not exist.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong computer and system technical skills.
- Qualifications in a relevant field such as Training, IT or Communications.
- All applicants must have the right to work in Australia and will be required to complete a Working with Children’s Check and Police Check.
- Applicants will be required to provide their Australian Government Covid-19 Digital Immunisation Certificate/s.
