About this Role

OzHarvest is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to oversee the Cooking for a Cause (CFAC) program, including managing logistics, participant engagement, and post-event follow-up. You will also assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of corporate volunteering events, ensuring they align with both OzHarvest’s mission and corporate partner goals.

This position is part-time closed period contract at 15.2 hours per week (2 days). Availability to work Thursdays and Fridays is required.

About you

  • Adaptable: Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adjust to changing needs and priorities.
  • Collaborative Team Player: A strong sense of teamwork and the ability to work seamlessly with colleagues across various departments.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, follow through on projects, and maintain accuracy.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Ability to negotiate with potential corporate partners, donors, and service providers to secure valuable partnerships.
  • Experience using CRM systems (sales force would be an advantage) to track engagements, manage relationships, and report on activities.
  • Experience in planning and executing community or corporate events—from corporate cooking programs to food drives and corporate volunteer events.
  • Confidence representing OzHarvest at events and speaking to corporate and community groups to inspire action and support.
  • Ability to adapt to challenges and offer creative, actionable solutions that align with both OzHarvest’s mission and the needs of our stakeholders.
