OzChild began delivering TFCO in Australia in 2017. Starting in Victoria with one team we are now delivering the program in NSW and QLD with five teams on the ground across the three states. The program supports children and young people aged 7-17, who are at risk of, or currently living in residential care facilities.
Due to the successful outcomes being achieved we have now expanded delivery of the program into South Australia to support young people aged 12-17 years (TFCO-A).
As the individual therapist you will work in a clinical team that consists of a program supervisor, foster carers, family therapist, skills coaches and a teacher. The individual therapist is experienced in working one to one with young people aged 12-17, can work independently and remain calm under pressure. The TFCO program is particularly effective for children who may have a history of trauma and/or neglect.
