This position has a dual purpose of Foster Carer Recruitment, and Intake Worker.
Foster Carer Recruitment purpose is to engage with Program Leadership and our National Carer Recruitment Team and support the National Carer Recruitment Team and activities associated with Foster Carer recruitment and accreditation, this includes and is not limited to activities such as marketing, enquiry, face-to-face screenings, information sessions, completion of required documentation, training and assessing of potential Foster Carers, and preparation of documentation for accreditation.
The Intake Worker purpose is to review and prioritise Children and Young People referrals and assess the available Foster Carer pool and identify the most appropriate placement match and facilitate placement in consultation with appointed Case Managers and Foster Carer, and completion of all processes, documentation, and system reporting required.
Essential - Tertiary qualification in social work or equivalent that is recognised in Australia
Preferable - Foster Care Training & Assessment Skills
