Our Watch has a Prevention In Action framework, the Annual Planning Cycle and the Prevention, Quality, Support and Reach (PQSR) team has a critical role in enabling the delivery teams to do this. PQSR’s streams of functions include program support, quality assurance and learning and our monitoring, evaluation and learning approach. It can also act as a point of coordination with the other Our Watch directorates.
As such, this role supports the implementation and development of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework.
The MEL Framework guides monitoring and evaluation of the work of the delivery team and builds on these monitoring and evaluation processes. Reporting to the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Lead, this role will be supporting the ongoing implementation of the MEL Framework.
You will be a monitoring and evaluation practitioner with an interest or experience in gender equality and preventing violence against women. The role will require you have experience in working with a MEL Framework, expertise in collection, collation and analysis of monitoring data and tracking progress against identified indicators, and quality assurance. You will have experience in utilising qualitative and quantitative data. You will have capability to support appropriate and ethical data collection and analysis for the teams requirements and communicate the analysis to key and varied audiences.
You will support reporting required under the MEL Framework and be supervised by the MEL Lead. You will also provide support for the implementation of the Evidence and Impact Strategy. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and other Our Watch staff as required, to support work on key organisational and directorate strategic and operational plans.
