The position will lead the project management of a portfolio of grants, acting to connect funder/s and foster relationships with project teams across the organisation to achieve quality grant implementation. This includes standing-up a grant once it has been won, implementation through the relevant project teams, monitoring, internal and external reporting, donor compliance, financial and risk management, and evaluation to ensure that Our Watch meets and exceeds donor expectations as well as meeting program quality standards.
This newly established manager position will have an integral part to play in the organisation, enabling us to support our vision of ending violence against women.
Our Watch head office is based in Melbourne, however suitable applicants from other locations who are interested in working remotely are welcome to apply.
As the successful applicant, you will have a breadth of capabilities, including the ability to influence, negotiate, build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally. You will have experience with complex grants management and/or experience managing a portfolio of grants. Strong financial acumen and project management skills are essential for you in this role and you will have a demonstrated understanding of grants and procurement processes when partnering with Government (ideally DSS).
