About the role

• Hybrid and remote working arrangements available
• 0.8FTE – 1.0FTE (flexible working options available)
• 3-year contract (with potential for renewal)
• $111,223 - $116,836 + 11.5% super + 19.5% annual leave loading
• Cultural rem package ($5000 allowance, additional leave, professional development budget)

This role is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only. Applicants for this role must be of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander decent, identify as being an Aboriginal and be accepted by the Aboriginal community as defined by the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.

This role will support empowerment and self-determination of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across various sectors and communities to work towards a society free of violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and their families. This role supports and facilitates strategic relationship development to identify and support future partners and to influence strategic programme decisions and investments with philanthropic organisations.

About you

You will support end-to-end project and partnership management with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and other organisations working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. It will provide senior leadership across the organisation, supporting improved partnership practice across Our Watch. You will have demonstrated experience in prevention of violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or in a relevant area and have excellent negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to reconcile multiple diverse viewpoints across internal and external stakeholders.
