Osteopathy Australia is the peak body representing the interests of osteopaths, osteopathy as a profession and consumer rights to access osteopathic services. Osteopathy Australia represents over 2,300 osteopaths in every state and territory across Australia. Our priority is our members. We provide them with clinical and business information, advice, resources, and professional development opportunities.
Externally we are the policy, advocacy, and clinical quality voice of osteopathy. We have a key role in raising awareness of our growing profession.
This role (2 years with possibility of extension) is based mainly in Chatswood with hybrid work from home options available for skilled and dynamic policy people.
You will lead our clinical policy development and advocacy in a range of policy areas. Examples may include the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, Worker or Motor Accident schemes, NDIS. Research and write submissions and position statements, research new opportunities, and build great relationships with key stakeholders.
Take the lead on reviewing and creating clinical policies, guidelines and resources, and provide timely accurate advice to our members.
You are a self-driven problem solver who thrives on the challenge of representation and persuasion. You have excellent communication skills. Your outgoing personality helps you build and manage effective relationships with key industry stakeholders.
