IPS Assessor and Training Support Officer

This is a full or part-time (0.8-1.0 FTE) position until June 2024.

Your new job

The Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Assessor and Training Support Officer will be responsible for the administration and assessment of work submitted by IPS vocational specialists completing online micro-credentials through Orygen’s IPS Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Reporting to the IPS Workforce Development Implementation Lead you will:

  • Design and develop relevant assessment plans for micro-credential online modules and assessment activities.
  • Collaborate with IPS experts, and Training and Learning Developers in the design and development of assessment activities.
  • Work closely with the training manager, project manager and implementation lead to provide support at implementation consultations and training feedback sessions.

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Graduate Certificate in Career Development.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering the IPS model of employment support to young people experiencing mental ill-health.
  • Experience in assessor or training role or development of assessment strategies and resources
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
