Your new team
The Orygen Youth Prevention & Recovery Care (YPARC) is an emerging 20-bed, 24-hour, 7-days residential sub-acute step-up step-down program supporting young people aged 16-25 years. The multidisciplinary team is consists of lived experience, wellbeing, medical and clinical workforce.
Your new role:
- Provide clinical leadership, management, training and supervision of a multidisciplinary team via training, secondary consultation, and other appropriate strategies
- Provide leadership regarding discipline specific interventions
- Demonstrate advanced skills in mental health, physical health and risk assessment, interventions, least restrictive practices and improved outcomes using evidence based best practice
About you:
- Relevant registration and qualifications (see attached position description for details)
- Comprehensive previous clinical experience in a mental health setting and/or related field and preferably with young people presenting with mental ill-health
- A proven ability to manage and lead a multidisciplinary team: managing staff resources and ensuring high standards of practice through clinical review, training and professional development activities
- Clinical experience in the assessment, case management, formulation and treatment of mental illness
