One Tree Community Services is a not for profit organisation that supports community services and child care centres throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory. We believe that our organisation cannot provide quality services or grow faster than its ability to attract and retain the 'right' people. 

One Tree Community Services is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide expertise, guidance and assistance to the organisation’s finance team to ensure compliant, quality financial management and reporting. The successful applicant will have a minimum of five years’ experience as a CFO preferably in a not for profit organisation.   

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the position will ensure the organisation’s leadership team and Board of Directors receive the financial information needed to oversee the organisations financial management.

Selection Criteria

1. Five to seven years employed as a CFO preferably in a not for profit organisation.
2. Experience managing and leading a finance team.
3. Knowledge of finance policy and procedures.
4. Knowledge of Navision accounting system preferred.
5. Knowledge of current accounting practices and legislation.
6. Understanding of, and commitment to comply with the organisation’s code of ethics, vision (spirit), purpose, policies and procedures and to support the organisations culture.
7. Relevant tertiary qualifications including CPA member.
